Under the Health Card Scheme in Punjab, individuals holding the health card, also known as the National CNIC, are entitled to free treatment up to 10 lakhs at various hospitals. This scheme aims to provide accessible healthcare services to the citizens of Punjab. Here’s a comprehensive list of hospitals participating in the scheme across different districts of Punjab
PML-N, CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that the health card is a project of Pakistan Muslim League-N and will relaunch it with a sustainable mechanism.I n the meeting presided over by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, suggestions and recommendations for the relaunch of health insurance were considered.
In the meeting, it has been decided to form a working group to make the health card more effective.In this regard, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has asked for a workable plan in 3 months for the relaunch of the health card. In this regard, Maryam Nawaz says that they will not deprive any poor person of the right to free treatment, they want to provide the best treatment facilities to the common man.

My health card has expired. How to get a new card?
- Health card does not expire. The card’s expiry date is automatically extended every year
The health card is in the name of my parents. Can I get myself treated in it?
- Yes, if you are unmarried.
If you are married, you cannot be treated on your parent’s card
My name is not included in health benefits program. How do I register?
There is no enrollment process in the Health Facilitation Program. -If you are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, every family will get their card in about two to eight months as announced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government]
Does this card cover all types of diseases?
- This scheme does not include any type of OPD treatment -Other than that the treatment which is not covered in this scheme is available in the download section.
If the card is not used, will the amount on it be paid?
- no way. The card can only be used for hospitalization and treatment. Provide any amount in case of non-use

کیا اس کارڈ میں ہر طرح کی بیماریوں کا علاج کیا جاتا ہے؟
-اس اسکیم میں کسی بھی قسم کی او پی ڈی علاج شامل نہیں ہے -اس کے علاوہ جو علاج اس اسکیم میں نہیں ہے وہ ڈاؤن لوڈ سیکشن میں موجود ہے
اگر کارڈ استعمال نہیں کیا گیا، تو اس میں موجود رقم ادا کی جائے گی؟
ہر گز نہیں۔ کارڈ صرف اسپتال میں داخلے اور علاج کے لئے استعمال کیا جاسکتا ہے۔ استعمال نہ کرنے کی صورت میں کسی بھی قسم کی رقم فراہم نہیں کی جائے گی۔
